You can find most of the info you need for keto budgeting here:

2. The research on fat intake and colon cancer indicates that a high fat, western diet increases the risk. However, this doesn’t mean that ALL high-fat diets will increase your risk. Animal research on the keto diet, for example, has found that keto can help reduce tumor growth, improve survival, and potentially prevent colon cancer. Although this may not carry over to humans, there are some things you can do to decrease your risk. These include eating fresh meat and fish that isn’t charred, grilled, or smoked (burn/char marks and smoking are carcinogenic) and eliminating all hydrogenated oils and oxidized fats from your diet. If you do these two things, you should be able to significantly decrease your risk and even prevent cells from becoming cancerous.

3. I recommend checking out our keto recipes and keto snacks:

I think you will be able to find plenty of keto recipes that you and your husband will love. This way you can easily make most of the dinner for two and add an extra carb-rich side for him if needed.

I hope all of this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Good luck with everything!

Thanks for sharing a bit of your story.

I agree with you. The best diet for each individual is found through experimentation.

Similar to an applesauce, but using berries instead?

It’s hard to tell how many calories and grams of sugar would be in your kombucha, so It’d be irresponsible of me to just give you a simple “yes” or “no” answer.

The general estimate for kombucha is around 5 grams of sugar and 28 calories per cup. Since you do a second fermentation, it’ll probably have a bit less sugar. You also have to take into account what you are adding to it. Ginger, lemon, grapefruit, and berries all have some calories and net carbs.

Altogether, each cup will most likely be below 10 grams of net carbs, so you could probably drink one cup a day without it affecting your ketone levels or diet results too much. Just make sure you include your kombucha calorie and sugar estimates (including the foods you add to it) into your total carb and calorie count for the day.

The net carbs are listed by weight. Each one is per 100g.

Half a medium avocado vs 8 watermelon balls is vague at best.
