Hey Rebecca,
The erythritol isn’t for the cooling sensation in this. The “Ice” merely represents sweet. You could use the Truvia baking blend in replacement for it. You can definitely add minced garlic to this, also 🙂

I do not have Erythritol on hand – I have a little truvia, the stevia/erythritol mix…also splenda. Is the erythritol for the kind of “cooling” effect it has as well as the sweetness? I would have to order erythritol online and I don’t wanna do that just for making these pickles. But I LOVE me some sweet, flavored pickles, but they are usually pretty pricey. These look easy to make!

EDIT: Also, would it be possible to add minced garlic without messing anything up? I don’t know much about pickling.
